Hyperchip
Hyperchip Inc. offers network routing components and
systems – Hyperchip
FPGA Cores and Architectures.
The Hyperchip H40G
Router
is a 40 Gb/s router over five times less power consuming, over 10 times smaller
and a fraction of the cost of incumbents, using industry standard MicroTCA
chassis and open-standard interfaces.
In the future Hyperchip
will extend its offerings from 40Gb/s to 100Gb/s per MicroTCA chassis and per
ATCA slot with in-service scaling from a single line card to full non-blocking
multi-chassis systems, across the network industry from high-speed access
networks to scalable core routers.
Hyperchip’s core
technology was developed for Hyperchip’s PBR-1280 Router, a scalable core router delivering
a number of first to the world features:
The PBR-1280 completed
field trials and went live in its first network in 2004, and was certified by
NCCT Network Computing and Control Technologies Research Laboratory Ottawa and
China Telecom in 2005.
